Tying up Loose Ends

Yesterday I took time out to reward myself. I finally managed to get the manager of the dietary aide job on the phone. He's been dodging me since that last shift I had. Good thing I smelled a bad manager and found this new job that I actually like quite a bit. Since I could now tell him just what I thought of him I did. I didn't curse him out but I did point out all his "misinformation" and lack of professionalism. It was great!

Most importantly I confirmed where to send my ROE, pay stub and for the end of the year my T4. I also confirmed that I will not be charged any union fees and that my tuberculosis test and criminal record check costs ($45 total) have been reimbursed to me.

I am so glad to have that cleared off my plate.

Thank GOD you have this asshole out of your hair, once and for all. I'm very proud of you for once again standing up for your rights. It's only because of people like you that we have any rights at all. You've done a service to all workers.

Thanks Dolly!

Gail wants to know how you will you spend the $35.

Good for you for getting that taken care of. I'm usually chicken when it comes to confronting people like that...

@ Nathaniel - Yeah that bastard! Tell Gail I'm going to probably put it on my student loan.

@ Canadian Saver - Thank you. I'm glad to have that done with so I can forget about it and just focus on the job I have now, that I actually like.
