A week or two ago I was looking around on Craigslist because I was bored and I posted an ad saying I was available to do house-sitting in my area. Today I came home home and there was an email requesting my price range for a lady whom has three cats. She doesn't need somebody currently but she likes to take short vacations here and there.
I hadn't thought this far ahead (yeah I know). So now I need a little advice from you all. Have any of you ever house sit or paid for a house sitter? I'm not sure what the average range is.
I just thought it would be a good way to make some extra money on the side but I forgot about having to be at my job at 6am. I guess as long as I don't have to stay there it would be alright.
Any advice is greatly appreciated! :)

I've heard some "pro house sitter" people charge $10 to $20 a day depending on how far the house is, what they expect you to do, how much there is to clean. etc. etc. etc. See what other people are charging and undercut ALL their asses... for now. Keeping three cats, happy, healthy and loved while their mommy is gone is a big job that she takes very seriously. You're good at so many other things, perhaps offer to groom and neuter them as well!
Bottom line though, AGREE ON A PRICE BEFORE SHE GOES AWAY!!!!
