It's time to see what type of progress I have made this month as far as debt and savings go. March left my numbers at:
Federal Student Loan $3462.34
Savings $410.00
End of the month figures for April are:
Federal Student Loan $2759.26
Savings $600.00
I feel really good about the amount I paid off on my student loan. I would have liked to have done more but isn't that always the case? I am really looking forward to knocking it down again this month again. I love watching that number drop.
On the other hand my EFund is so little and scrawny. I would really like to put more into but my debt is my number one. I try to make sure I put a little bit each month for savings but any windfalls still go to debt. My interest on my debt is at 8.5% so its better it go towards my student loan anyways. In a few months time I will have the ability to do whatever I want with money without having to pay out huge chunks towards debt. I can't wait to actually save all that money!!
