Well I'm just about ready to get my buns out of here and get down to the clinic for the first part of my TB test for the new job. Ugh! I really hate getting this test done.
First of all I am a needlephobic like never seen before. There is a lot of deep breaths and thinking of happier things when I'm about to get poked.
This test is kind of gross because they insert the needle just below the skin and insert some fluids. The fluids create a bubble under the skin. Lovely, right? You keep an eye on it because if it starts reacting then you have a problem. By reaction I mean bruising, rash, redness etc.
I go back on Friday to have them look at the injection site.
Wish me luck and no tears!
